OVERVIEW
A favorite location for many of the world's best underwater photographers and marine biologists, the wreck of the USS Liberty is a fantastic dive. Day-trippers have a choice between a second dive on the wreck, or an alternative site, the Kubu Drop Off, which is also a wonderful dive site.

All diving takes place from the stony shoreline. Very few locations in the world offer diving of this quality and variety just metres from the beach. The steep sloping underwater seascape means you have access dive sites in depths ranging from only two metres to those well beyond recreational limits.

A trip to Tulamben involves a two and a half hour drive each way through some of Bali's most scenic country - Don't forget your camera! The site also offers great snorkeling, so snorkelors can accompany their diving companions.

Tulamben is fantastic day trip but an overnight stay or multiple night stay will allow you to enjoy this culturally rich and picturesque location in a more leisurely manner. BaliSafaris.com can organise your accommodation, transfers and equipment.

A fully certified and insured Divemaster will accompany you for the duration of your stay. All the dive sites in Tulamben are worth of multiple dives. This is one of the best night diving locations in the world.

Staying a night or two will provide you with more flexibility in when and where you dive. Cool tranquil mornings and soft hued evenings invite you to explore the spectacular natural splendor that lies at the base of the majestic Mount Agung, Bali's highest volcanic peak and most important religious site.

Tulamben Dive FAQs

Pick up times

Approximately 6.30 am, pickup from your hotel (no further than Ubud).

Return to the hotel usually between 5.00 - 6.00 pm.

Included in the tour

Return transfer from point of pickup (no further away than Ubud).
Return land transfers to Tulamben.
Simple Indonesian lunch.

Two (2) shore dives in the Tulamben region.

Not included in the tour

Scuba equipment is not included in Tulamben day dive trip.

Equipment hire is US$ 10.00 per day for a full set up.
