OVERVIEW
As already
mentioned Nusa Lembongan, Nusa
Penida and Nusa Cennigan are
situated adjacent to the ecologically significant Wallace Line.
The Wallace Line is the demarcation line separating Equatorial Asia
from Marsupial Australia. The islands are positioned on the edge
of both the Badung and Lombok straits. These deep seaways channel
huge volumes of water between the Indian Ocean and the Java Sea.
Migratory species and large open ocean Pelagics ride the currents
on seasonal migrations. The fringing reef surrounding the islands
is fed by nutrient rich deep ocean upwelling.
Daily departures at 9.15am put
you in Lembongan Bay at approximately 10.30am.

SAFARI
INFORMATION & HIGHLIGHTS
There is great temperature variation here. Cool oxygen rich water
has protected the coral reef ecosystem around the three islands
from the coral bleaching that has severely effected many of the
world's popular dive locations. Scientific surveys and monitoring
programs clearly demonstrate that these three islands are home to
Bali's most prolific & diverse coral reef community.
The big fish know what scientists have only recently found out!
Seasonal migrations of Manta Rays and rare Oceanic Sunfish make
for unexpected surprises on exciting drift dives along the edge
of numerous sloping drop-offs. Pioneers of the now famous Nusa Penida
and Nusa Lembongan drift dive locations, Bali Hai Diving Adventures
has been providing safe and exhilarating diving services in the
region for more than ten years.
Bali Hai Diving Adventures regularly
dives ten (10) dive sites in this area. Seasonal variation and daily
conditions determine which will be selected on any given day. Dive
sites can be visited twice in the same day and provide completely
different experiences. A sedate inspection of the myriad of reef
top life on one dive can be followed only hours later by and exhilarating
ride on the ocean currents with thousand upon thousands of fish
rising and pelagics hunting in the current.

Dive Packages
Take your time & enjoy. Lembongan Island itself is a tranquil
location. Built from traditional materials the unique Hai
Tide Huts are fifteen bungalows (six beach
front) providing comfortable and affordable accommodation
that give divers a chance to more completely explore all that
Lembongan Bay has to offer.
The Beach Club at Hai
Tide Huts is the ideal place for non-diving
companions to relax in comfort. Whether it's an early breakfast
on the beach watching the local fishing fleet sail in, an
afternoon surf, a walk in the local village, a sunset paddle
on a sea kayak, a night dive in the bay or just a cold beer
as the sun sets over Bali's majestic Mount Agung, Lembongan
Island will be the highlight of your Bali holiday.
